We enjoyed a great stay at the Lakeshore Inn.
The owners, Teresa & John, are gracious, accommodating hosts.
The Inn’s location on the lake, across from the marina, is ideal.
Furnishings are top quality, our room was immaculately clean, the queen size bed very comfortable… and the neighbourhood quiet at night.
A delicious full breakfast was served to us in the morning.
It’s an short walk to the General Store and Eatery, where we enjoyed an excellent dinner the night we checked in.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Lakeshore Inn as a great place to stay.
Beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and comfortable
Very elegant, the room was spectacular. We had the room facing the wharf with a fireplace and jazucci, Nice deck, lace curtains and brocade bed cover and cushions , Wow just like a fancy European hotel !!!! so elegantly decorated like the rest of the INN, tasteful expensive furnishing but yet felt at home, well worth the money , decorated so beautiful with vaulted ceiling and rugs in the room, a fridge and microwave and coffeepot and hair dryerand ironing board , beautiful furnature, homey and comfy bed. Quiet but on the main street accross from the Lakeside grill i think it is called. We were expecting it to be in a more quiet area with a free view of the lake, that would have made it perfect. Also the fireplace heats the room up to uncomfortable so could not enjoy it as much but that is so minor. Breakfast was gormet , hot homemade oatmeal , juices and hand made french toast with her Secret sauce and mixed berries ..dusted with icing sugar and a nice eating area on the main floor with a sitting area with a fire place.Our Polish hosts were so nice and they really keep the place so clean and they are so accommodating and make you feel welcome. Dont hesitate , we will be back and will tell other too !!! best b nb in the west !!!
THE PERFECT PLACE
I stayed at the end of September with my family. It was a combined business/pleasure trip which we thoroughly enjoyed. Accommadation was excellent along with a first class location over looking Cold Lake Marina. People were very helpful, friendly and it was a pleasure staying there.
We absolutely enjoyed every part of our stay
Just a totally pleasant and enjoyable experience. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very bright, clean and the decor was adorable – bed was very comfortable. Our view was of the marina building and lake. We got the morning sun, so enjoyed coffee on the patio. The breakfasts were wonderful – great variety and the lobby and lounges were well equipped and comfortable!! This is a treasure!!
French toast to die for!
My husband and I came up to Cold Lake to attend a wedding – a very brief overnight. I chose to stay at the Lakeshore Inn bed and breakfast after looking at the website, and booked about a month in advance, although they were not full when we were there. The decor is cheery and bright, with beautiful furnishings and furniture. Our room overlooked the Cold Lake marina just across the road. Parking was 2 steps out the door. We didn’t get much chance to speak to the hosts but they were friendly and pleasant when we did. Breakfast was served in the front room – a buffet with a choice of about 6 cereals and porridge, 3 or 4 juices and many choices of looseleaf tea (made in a carafe) or coffee. One cooked course was offered. It was French toast when we were there. I tend not to order French toast when I go out – not caring for thick slices of egg-dipped bread, but this was the best I’ve ever had!! – the toast light dainty slices and still slightly-crisp, topped with a yummy sweet sabayon-like sauce and decorated with a fresh berry compote, and icing sugar. Melted in the mouth! Incredible value for $120/night. Highly recommended by us too!

After a long day of traveling, what a delightful surprise to check into this lovely bed and breakfast. Impeccably clean and comfortable, we were there 5 nights. We would highly recommend a stay here if you are heading this far north.
Outstanding!!!
We spent a long weekend here, and it was outstanding. Everything was spotless and meticulously maintained. The staff were very pleasant and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. And the location was perfect. Sitting right off the lake across from the marina was ideal. I highly recommend staying here.
Best B&B
We had a perfect stay on May Long Weekend at the Lakeshore Inn/B&B! Great location near the marina and close to downtown. Clean and beautiful facility. Our room was amazing with double Jacuzzi, fireplace, balcony, wood floors and 4-poster canopy bed. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Best of all was breakfast. To start there are many choices of cold cereal, oatmeal with all the fixings, 3 kinds of juice. The first morning we had lovely French toast with a vanilla custard and berry compote. The second morning we had scrambled eggs with ham, scallions and cheese, toast, fresh fruit and yogurt. It is the best B&B we’ve been to!
Family Get Away
Though I have been in Cold Lake many times on business and pleasure I have always stayed at the big box hotels. My wife and I decided to walk outside of the box for this trip, and found this lovely place adjacent to Cold Lake Marina. The owners were so very friendly and worked ever so hard to make things pleasant, and the rooms were top notch. In our room we had two beds particianed by the bathroom and a wall which made my young sone feel as if he was independant and allowed mom and I some privacy. Though the balcony was very small and barely useable it did afford a decent view and was a nice addition.
This place had Fabulous service, Fantastic Food, and was so quiet. Loved it!!
